    Martin X

I played one of these Martin X series today. It had bark. Really nice sounding instrument for $800.

Cool--was that the Canadian price? I would prefer something like the 0X2MAE--smaller body & Mahogany--but that suits my playing better...

I figured that couldn't possibly be an American made one- was it worth it for you to buy one?

If I was in the market to buy one it made the grade for sure. We all have certain things our ears are looking for & that little bomb did em all. Warm but still had bright highs to. I guess I'd call that full spectrum. & The neck felt nice with decent action. Like I said it's 800 bucks & I liked it better than many that were better than twice that much.

Sounds very cool- although you know I am going to say I am a little disappointed that they aren't made in Nazareth, PA. But if they were they'd be $2k

My Taylor 214 is made in Mexico but it still very good quality. A new one is 1700 Canadian.

It's nice, Ive tried one, I think its the most affordable Martin in the Ph. a lot of guys were trading it for a good electric guitar. but I never really liked it enough to get one.
