I don't play guitar because I'm good at it, I play because it's fun!!

    D'oh! (Slaps head.)

Mike Reilander has a little amp that I am sure is under 25 lbs.
I bought a relic'd guitar because I liked the way it sounded. Then I refinished it because I didn't like the way it looked.

Well look what I found looking for an old thread about my first bass amp.
this thread--so not only did I get one under 25 pounds--it's under 2 pounds...
so I could have a 23 pound or less cab--and be under 25 pounds between head & cab...
Only took me about 2 and a half years.

My Pignose G40V definitely fits the bill... Very small and portable, especially as a head amp.

Any time I've seen a Pignose for sale it hasn't been a tube amp.
I have still been tempted a couple of times though.

Tell me if you ever want one- a friend of mine designed the amp and he has several NOS ones hanging around his shop. It is not without its limitations but ridiculously loud for its size.
