    I can't believe I missed this post. Dynamics are everything, and trampling on everyone else because you're too loud is absolutely nowhere, man. If I have to keep turning up or ask you to turn down too many times, it means we're not going to play together anymore. It's. Just. That. Simple.

    Update on this item.

    At the jam yesterday clearly the people playing too loud have received very negative feedback from multiple sources because the situation improved greatly. Luckily it was not just me complaining! The store where they have the jam conducts music lessons and the person who manages the lessons actually came out before anyone started playing and said "if you play too loud, we will turn you off".

    So a little triumph...

    How much did you pay him?
    I bought a relic'd guitar because I liked the way it sounded. Then I refinished it because I didn't like the way it looked.
