    Name the new band

My son's jazz combo has decided to branch out and shoot for a very different audience by chasing after festival/ carnival music. Although this may sound hokey, I think that this could open up a totally new revenue stream in places where jazz would not be welcome.

Any ideas on a good festival band name?

No ideas here yet, but I'm thinking the name should be something that suggests a young prodigy out front, yet a name he won't outgrow.
I bought a relic'd guitar because I liked the way it sounded. Then I refinished it because I didn't like the way it looked.

Good idea DW- It is not quite as easy as I initially thought. For a commercial band the name is very delicate. It is a very different world than rock or jazz where the name can be ironic, silly or evoke strong emotions

HDX- we don't want to box ourselves into German music, although that will be one program we offer

    Bottled Lightning
    Electric Carousel
    Music Box

or something else that is timeless.

You could also make any of them "Name and the..." or "Name's..."

Not bad... not bad... Different from the line I was thinking on, but your suggestions are perhaps better...

Lederhosen Brothers would be great if we were focusing only on German music but I need to open it to more carnival stuff than specifically German
