What a beautiful piece! When I was managing an audio store in the 70's and looking for unique window displays I'd have given my eyeteeth for a chance to show that. Does it work?

Of course it works! I have dozens of original steel stamped disks too labeled Regina Music Box Company, Rahway NJ- pat. 1890 and so forth. Rahway, NJ is only about 5 miles from me too.
In fact Rahway is right next to Linden- can you guess what was made there in the 60's? Not too hard based on who is typing this....

dB, if there's any doubt in your mind as to whether your Ampeg fetish makes you a collector, you can put it to rest. You're a collector.

That pretty cool, last summer I was in Revelstoke, BC and stopped at the Nickelodeon Museum--dedicated to mechanical music--they had many things like this--including larger ones for restaurants, bars, and rich people's homes.

    It was a cool tour.

If any of you ever get up that way--check it out...
I've been a pilgrim on this earth, since the day of my birth, I'm a long way from my home.

Z- If I am up that way I'll surely check it out but I see Revelstoke is about 4000KM from me!!!

Blooz- yeah I'm afraid you are right- as much as I hate to admit it. Not sure when I crossed the line into collector though!
