    Beautiful guitar.

    Haunt him anyway.

I have a "lawsuit" Takamine acoustic from the same period. At five paces it's indistinguishable from a Martin D-28, right down to the headstock shape and the "Takamine & Co." script logo. And, truth be told, it sounds as good as it looks.

I like the Ibby Destroyer up there teaman.

I have a LP copy that is Ibanez--but it has the open book/moustache headstock often referred to as the Lawsuit shape...

Thanks Kele. When I was a poor teenager it cost me all the money I could scrape together (this guitar and a Peavy Deuce 2x12 combo). I was a long hair rocker type, so I couldn't get a respectable job...I had to pick up odd jobs here and there for money. A friend of mine that was a little more fortunate bought a Gibson Explorer just before I bought mine, but at that time it cost more than 3X what the Ibanez clone cost. Now don't get me wrong, his was nice, but in the end, I am glad I got "stuck" buying the "cheap imitation"

A funny note on the Peavey amp. I blew out the speakers right after I bought it and took it back to the music store (it was still under warranty) and the guy asked me "How loud were you playing it" and I said: "Well, it goes to 10". The guy said he would replace the Peavey speakers but suggested that I switch to Celestions instead. He credited the retail on the Peavey speakers against the Celestions and I never had another problem.
