    I can't believe there aren't a zillion kids rushing to buy these things. They seem to love all that space above the 12th fret (that I never use).

    I had a friend that owned one of the teardrop Vox guitars with the on board effects-and it was also a 12 string. He tuned it to open E and played barre chords, Loudly!
    He liked to play all the effects at once though the battery played out quickly.....
    All I could find was a photo of the teardrop body-the sunburst was the same as his.

    Thanks Fussel62, I think the oddest feature on these Vox guitars was that triangle shaped device on the guitar's bridge. It is a hand operated wah pedal!

    I think that that triangle thing controls a pot (like your foot does on a pedal via a toothed rack).
    I found this clip that shows a Vox guitar with that palm wah and all the other built-in effects. It really sounds like a Wah,
    but I can imagine that it is not easy to handle while playing.
