    Guitarz Blogspot

Okay, I think this guy's blog deserves a thread of it's own.

    Guitar Blog: December 2010

    Fire away, fellas.
I bought a relic'd guitar because I liked the way it sounded. Then I refinished it because I didn't like the way it looked.

I will start off with this one:

The 1974 Gibson Les Paul Signature Sunburst.
It looks like something for the Starcaster crowd, although it predated Fender's taffy-pulled version of a 335.

Actually it looks like it got caught in a tug-of-war between Les Paul and B.B. King!
    Haha

    Good description.

i sued to go there & a couple of other guitar blogs often--now I go once a week or so--but sometimes that timing gets extended--depends how busy I am.

Still that blog is one of the best...

Thanks for posting the link, DW. I just had a look through it for the first time and saw things I'd never even heard of before.

You are welcome, Spell. When I have more time I am sure I will enjoy digging around that site.

He does post Gibsons & Fenders--but mostly just out of the ordinary ones--but lots of European ones--especially Eastern Europe.

Me too! I particularly like the control plate with the recessed jack. I wish somebody was building a reproduction of that part so I could do a build with it.

Yeah, I took note of that jack too. Nice design.
