It can be--with the internet & all--but I would prefer to sell locally if possible--it's just easier.
Still haven't made up my mind--but have otehr things to do before I put it up for sale.
It does have new strings & it has been set up though--but unlike many ads out there I wouldn't promote that in an ad as if it the be all & end all and should cost an extra arm &/or leg.

unless it is creating a space problem, which it seems it is not, you have all the time in the world to decide to sell it, or not

No space problem--just that I could trade it for or use cash from a sale to fund another gear purchase--like a cheaper keyboard (Yamaha & Roland make some nice ones in the lower price ranges that would suit my purposes), or a pedalboard, or pedal or something like that--or a combination, etc.

I would find it very neat to collect old stock certificates

Does it depend on how valuable they are--or just for the look?
    Or the novelty?

Not for value, just because they look cool. Most likely I'll never do a collection like this however.

SO many things that you can collect do nothing more than look cool--and take up space--but that's nt a bad thing in & of itself--except maybe if it takes over your life.

I'm sure I don't want any collection taking over my life!

There was a show about collectors whose homes were taken over by their collections--and not a hoarders type show--these people had organized homes and organized collections--displayed in many ways--not a mess or a health hazard.

Although hoarders could probably count for having a collection take over their lives...
