What would you like to start collecting?

If you had unlimited discretionary money for music-related gear, is there something you'd like to collect?

I've always wanted to have the money (and the space) to collect guitar cases. I see new ones that I'd like to have, but also vintage cases in particular, that really appeal to me.

One of everything (hey, if money is unlimited)
I've been a pilgrim on this earth, since the day of my birth, I'm a long way from my home.

Could this wish be extended to grant unlimited space as well?

Sure, why not? It seems likely that if you had enough dough to collect stuff, that you'd be able to afford space to keep it.

I'd kind of like to collect large obscure instruments like double belled euphoniums and helicons if I had the money and space

If money were no object and space not an issue probably one of everything....or more like this

    - a lot of Jaguars, Slash is to Les Pauls what I am to Jaguars.
    - Odyssey Paul Dean/Hondo Paul Dean Guitars, particularly some beaten/messed up examples for restoration projects
    - Get a Fiesta Red Jag-Stang for my Drop-D main
    - at least one or two Broadcasters, Nocasters, or Blackguard Teles/Esquires
    - Some Mosrites, a Gospel/Mark IV, maybe a Ventures or two
    - A few more oddball 80's attempts at guitar synthesis, like the GR-707, GR-800, GR-500, Casio Digital Guitars, and the Casio Self-Contained guitar/synth strat
    - Lots of 60's/70's and some later cheap weirdo student guitars, probably a good number of Harmony H-802/804 series guitars
    - 1996 Fender Jag-Stang, EMG Pickups, EMG Pi2
    - 1998 Fender Jaguar, Seymour Duncan SCR-1B Cool Rails
    - 1982 Hondo Paul Dean II (Bone Stock)
    - 2010 "Fender" Jazzmaster, Home Built

Interesting off-the-wall Japanese and European '60s guitars.
The kind that ZT likes to post pictures of.
I bought a relic'd guitar because I liked the way it sounded. Then I refinished it because I didn't like the way it looked.

I have more guitars than I could ever play, and I can't find an amp that compares with my Twin, so acquiring more guitars and amps doesn't appeal as much to me. The peripherals hold some appeal, particularly cases. Really impractical, because I don't use them a lot, so they only occasionally get taken out and appreciated.....but I still want them.

Well, I'll narrow done my list a bit--or maybe I'll highlight some things.
But if money & space were no object-one of everything (And some one of a kind gear) would be cool.

So to narrow it down/highlight stuff: (Stuff I don't have)
    -a harpsichord
    -a mandolin with a electromagnetic pickup & a piezo
    -A Weissenborn
    -a National reso--maybe two--a wood body & a metal body w/biscuit cones
-some real good recording equipment--including mics.
    -a Fender Jazz bass
    -A Kala U-Bass
    -A harp guitar
-Hughes Kettner Amp (an 18 watt one will do)
-anything oddball that catches my eye.
I've been a pilgrim on this earth, since the day of my birth, I'm a long way from my home.
