    There are fans of all sorts of things--if someone figured there was enough of a demand it wouldn't seem odd at all...

    True enough--so the odd thing wouldn't be hat something was or wasn't re-issued--but that there was or wasn't a demand for it...

    I've liked the Danelectro re-issues. but for the money, no. they still use plywood and cheap wood, and I dont want to pay that much for that wood. well, if thats what was used in those days, they remained faithful to it.

    I cant imagine paying 10k, but if Im earning just as much if not more from a 10k purchase, I can justify it. but I dont think Ill be a rockstar at this day and age. so I can settle for something like a custom shop re issue for 2k or less.

    but you can often find those Dano re-issues for $200-300 around here--maybe a bit more for some models...
