Today I glued it all together. I did some more filing & sanding to get things fitting better. I also ran all the wiring so it will be hassle free when it comes time to hook everything up. I can take the clamps off tomorrow at noon. It's starting to look like something.

Took the clamps off & went to work on it with the rasp file. I am really happy how it's turning out. I got a lot more shaping & sanding to go but it shows me now it will be a 1/2 decent instrument in the end.

This is as far as I got today. I am happy with the hump that rolls into the headstock at the bottom. It took a while to clean it up to get a smooth transition. I will do the headstock contours tomorrow as well as a bunch more sanding.

Thanks! Today I spent some time carving the headstock. It turned out pretty good I made the nut out of a piece of ebony.

Today I routed out the pickup hole. Its not exactly CNC quality but not bad for doing it with a drill press &some file's. I put the 1st coat of Bombay red mahogany Minwax on it today as well. I will post some photos of that tomorrow.
