That's interesting, KC. So, what's the plan? Does this get a clear coat or tung oil, or some other kind of finish?

I made the rear plates. I started on them on Sunday. I made the Control Cavity one clear so I can Highlight the electrical.

Cool--that looks like a big cavity--what is going into it?

Ya its huge. A little overkill actually. I'm going with 2 volume's & 1 tone with a Jensen tone cap.

Well it would make it easier to work on the wiring...

It's a pretty dark rainy day here in Lower Mainland BC. Tough to get good photo's in. But a good day for guitar building. I have been at this last night & this morning & this is where it stands today. A good part of the electrical is done. I still need a switch. I spent some time polishing the dust covers on the CTS 500k pots last night. Everything is grounded to the bridge. It's been fun making it all pretty because it will all show through the plexi cover when it's all finished. The Tone cap is a Jensen PIO specifically designed for guitars. I'm gonna find out once & for all if they live up to the hype. Cost me near fifty bucks Canadian by the time I got it here so if it doesn't blow me away it will be the one & only I ever buy. I mounted the bridge But I am still waiting for the Saddles as well as the string nut from Graphtech to arrive. All the string ferrules are in. & the neck is mounted. I got my hand made cherry-wood knobs the other day in the mail. Love the tribal art monkey's on them. I still need my neck pickup too. It's starting to look like a real guitar now & I am thrilled with the results.

I'm not crazy about reverse headstocks--but that looks real cool.

Thanks bud. Ya' know I'M not crazy about reverse headstock's either but it was to nice a neck to not use because of that. With the distance of the big E on the headstock combined with the distance of the string Ferrule on the other end on 1st glance I was wondering if the average E string would be long enough. Lol. It is but I will use it all. I think that part of this build make it really unique.
