Though, there is little chance of it looking this by the time September rolls around.

looks a bit different from the last time I saw it! How many effects boxes do you actually have?
What you see is my guitar pedals. My challenge is finding the sound in my head. I am now out of modulation mode and in drive mode. Specifically, clean boosts. The EHX LPB-1 boosts the low end too much. The BBE Boosta Grande is very transparent in its clean. I am thinking of trying out a Barber Launch Pad next.
I buy, I trade, I flip. The three constants for the now are the Ekko, Trem and de Lisle. The Burn Unit is still negotiating a long-term stay, but my urge to use it as trade bait is overwhelming. The fuzz gives me all the dirt I need.

Here is my bass chain. It is stable and won't be changing anytime soon. It gives me exactly the clean, modulated sounds I use on bass.

You got me beat Chad- I honestly wouldn't know what to do with all those goodies!
The only effect I ever generakky play with is the onboard spring reverb. Sometimes I use the Blues Driver for boost but that's about it! Refresh my memory- what is the rest of your rig (guitar/ amp)
For guitars: Squier Tele, SX Lap Steel, Dobro Hound Dog Deluxe
Guitar Amp: 4w Fargen tube amp into a 2x10 bass cab
I don't play straight-up rock or blues. On guitar, I am playing mostly gospel, irish and klezmer music. I find myself drawn to a boosted clean sound with a little bit of tremolo and the delay pedal simulating reverb. I use the de Lisle Fuzz to add a tinge of fuzziness, but nothing audacious.

They are from Source Audio, the SoundBlox line of pedals. Bass Envelope Filter, Phaser and Flanger. All digital goodness in those cases.

has anyone ever used a line 6 fm4 on bass?
