    I like the Capri--and the one he designed is an interesting shape to say the least.

    It just looks so strange seeing him weilding anything other than a Strat styled instrument. I seen a photo of him with a Les Paul once too it just looked wrong. Lol. He was the 1st famous player that I could play like that my friends liked when I was around 18. Before him I played country because that was what I learned from my dad growing up. In those year's most young folk's thought that was about as square as you could be. from there I branched out & became a pretty respectable rock player by my early to mid 20s. I love SRV.

    Same with some others--like Hendrix, Buddy Holly & Ritchie Blackmore.

    Or Albert King or Lonnie Mack playing something other than a Flying V
    Or Brian May playing an electric other than the Red Special.

    Sure--I could probably sell it for a very good price & get some more gear I would use...

    Heck with what you'd net off a '51 Tele you could buy a couple new cars if you needed them
