    Hendrix guitar build

I heard about this on CBC news a couple of days ago, but didn't realize how close to home it is. This story's from Comox, about 200 miles north of here.....

I can see the appeal. To me, there's more of a Jimi connection in this than a tribute Strat built by Fender. But, I wish the wood had been used to build Strat bodies rather than acoustics.

I was also thinking it odd that they didn't make strats instead of acoustics...

The Fender tribute was basically a reverse neck & they reversed the bridge pickup which would match Jimi if you play one right handed.
It should also have a left handed trem if you are playing right handed.

It would make more sense to make a left handed Strat & add a strap knob on the short horn & reverse the strings.

But Jimi did play some acoustic as well.

Either way it is a cool guitar
