George Fullerton on Leo Fender and Guitar Building

George Fullerton, Leo Fender's Longtime Partner, on Their Legacy of Guitar Building
Another interesting interview from the archives of guitar historian Tony Bacon.

Leo did come up with a lot of the ideas--but he didn't do it alone--George Fullerton was one of the key people who worked with him over the years.

It's nice to read an interview with this much honesty. Fullerton talked straight about Leo....Not a perfect guy, not a perfect employer, but still the kind of guy you'd want to know, and would like to work for.

The part about prototypes being chopped up after they'd served their purpose is sad. There's a lot of history lost that Fender fans would love to have now.
