    It was spray-painted black when I traded for it. Found the original San Marino Blue underneath! I believe the pickguard is a '61. Holes for the original guard underneath.

    Anyway--here's just a headstock, and a bit of neck, no machine heads or strings.
    This neck was bought for a project that never happened--which is a good thing in hindsight.

    Here is the headstock from one of the Tele kit guitars I built several years ago. I used the initials from my first and last name and made it a symbol-it's mainly just 3 lines but it works for me.
    Oh, the reason I put the pointed tip on the right bottom of the headstock was so I can hang the guitar up...
