    Ads on header

Is there any way for a member to dismiss the ads that are now overlaying the AxeTalk header, or to move them to a different location on the page?

It happens at the top of the home page. For a couple of days, most of the AxeTalk logo was blanketed by the MF Stupid Deal ad, now its a link to "New Relic Official Site" from Ad Choices, and again, it covers most of the AxeTalk logo.

OK, I sure don't see it. Does anyone else? You've had lots of browser issues in the past. So, perhaps that's what's happening to you now???

    Here's what I see:

Hmmm.....That's not what I'm seeing, but unfortunately I can't remember enough about doing a page capture to pull it off and post it.

In regard to the browser issue, I still have IE6 on the computer, but I always do AxeTalk now on the latest version of Mozilla Firefox.

Edited to add: Sorry, I just figured it out, and you're right, as usual it's on my end. Beacuse of my sight issues, I have things zoomed up pretty latge to be able to read it, and it's making the ads crawl over on top of the text on the page.

Ironically, going back to IE6 for a minute was what clued me in to what was going on. Sorry for the false alarm.

No problem. I would never set up the site for that to be the way things worked in general. Just so you know.

I thought this might be a comment on the types of ads--some sites get ones totally unconnected or even at odds with the site--like if an accordion site advertized here...

I always seem to get ads that seem geared to my online activities. I assume I'm being tracked by Google or Microsoft or.....somebody, which I find a little creepy. Does that sound paranoid? Just remember, just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me....

I don't mind the ads, generally, and I actually miss seeing the T-shirt girl......
