    What time is it?

When you see the time on a post, is that time synchronized with my local time, or does it reflect the time it was in the time zone that the poster's in? It might sound like a weird question, but sometimes the time on some posts seems wonky.

Yes, and no. Did you set your time zone correctly when you joined?

To check or change click on Settings > General Settings and scroll down to you "Date and Time Zone" settings. You can make the time on posts to whatever time zone you want.

You'll find "Settings" at the very top right hand side of every page.

But here's a like to get to General Settings directly: http://www.axetalk.com/forum/profile.php?do=editoptions

PS. Obviously, you have to be logged in for the time settings in your profile to take effect. Otherwise it will show my time zone settings as the base line.

Thanks, Paul. I think the answer is in the log-in issue that you mentioned. I'm normally dialed in on Firefox now, and I'm automatically logged in, but the odd time I still use my IE6 where I'm not.

Yeah, if you are not logged in, the software doesn't have any idea what Profile to assign to your visit.
