    Mission complete the neck is all finished. The frets were surprisingly even. I don't think I did more then a half dozen sweeps with the leveling bar before they were all bang on even. This made crowning about 2 minutes. Huge break! I have crowned some that wore my hands raw & took hours. The freshly radiused board made them lay down nice and even I guess. I installed the Sperzel tuners & a fresh new Graph Tech Tusk nut. & its ready to roll. The rest of this project will be posted on the Rebuilding a Tele Thread.

    Nice looking headstock--You should add it to the headstock thread.

    That is gorgeous, Kele. Before I clicked on the pics to make them bigger, the neck looked like birds-eye maple.
    I bought a relic'd guitar because I liked the way it sounded. Then I refinished it because I didn't like the way it looked.
