Today was very productive. I cut the fretboard & slotted it for the 25 inch scale. There was enough off the blank to make a headstock Vanier as well. We were able to cut a nice thin plank with a rigged up fence on the bandsaw. This has become my favorite place to go.Worked on a guitar. Jumped on the tug & went up stream for a burger & a beer. That's about as good a day as I would have ever asked for.

It really is pretty cool, KC. It's just so unfair that you make us wait a whole week for the next installment, lol.

Today I went at the fretboard the old fashioned way. Just 60 grit sandpaper double sided taped to a two by four. Lol. I am after a thickness of 6.5mm before attaching it to the neck. It's a heck of a lot easier doing it this way. I went at it hard from about noon and quit at 3:30 and I'm down to 6.8. it's definitely starting to look like it should. I'm glad I chose that wave grain in the fretboard blank. I think it looks great.
