I know that you may not be able to view it easily. (I use Keepvid to download Youtube, because I can't stand it when a song starts and stops.) I hope you get to see it sometime (whether now or at a friend's place.)
Anyway, I'm pretty happy with my playing, the Peavey sounds marvelous, and I'm even happy with my video editing (all done with a camera on table-top tripod). Someday I'm going to buy a better camera!

    Hi Cub -
I uploaded a new video to Youtube. I hope you like it:

    Hi BD -
I'm thinking about getting one of these:
My bad back is asking for a lighter guitar. 2.5 lb body sounds good to me. I won't have the money til I get back from Germany, but maybe I will get a few more parts from you.
I will put together a list...

PS - Do you think a paulownia guitar would be neck-heavy? That's why I ended up selling the Rogue strat that I had the body cut like a Steinberger.

    Hi Cub -

I'm cleaning out my shed this weekend, and it has some gear in there. (I know, I should be shot. But when you see my little apartment, you will forgive me.) Anyway, I want to clean these amps. They have mold on them. What, besides maybe Pinesol and/or vinegar, would be the best to clean them with? I also want to clean some speakers, in particular the paper. Can't get it too wet, now can I?

    Hi Cub -

I'm in the middle of a big project, and then a crazy weekend, but next week, I will email my approach to knowing what note to hit at the start of a song, or verse even. It may help...

By the way, I really hope we're gonna get a couple of days together this fall. We've got a lot to talk about - even MORE SO since AxeTalk, doncha think?
  7. I might be the worst player on Axetalk. But I don't mind...SURE I don't mind...like I don't care about nipple clamps when I'm tabulating my taxes or crippling gas pain at an all-you-can-eat buffet. It's some consolation, though, that I might also be the best [I]writer[I] here. But when you're a frighteningly mediocre player, you don't get many chances to prove claims like that.

I'm in the East Kootenays near Cranbrook, British Columbia...the part of BC that sits due south of Calgary in the BC "panhandle". I'd probably be an even better writer if I didn't spend so much time fussing over the gear...for some reason (let's say Asperger's...it seems to be the self-diagnosis of choice these days) the fascination of the hardware grabs me more than the music itself.

1,000 characters? For a PROFILE DESCRIPTION? Are you KIDDING me?
