And then Jimmy Page showed up...

There was a Jimmy Page Tribute at the Experience Music Project Museum & Jimmy showed up at the end.

    There's a bit of a story & a video on it here.

Or just view the amateur video below.

Kind of cool to me, Zeppelin was a huge part of my high school soundtrack.

Ya know I'm not a huge Zeppelin fan but Jimi Page is as cool as they get when he's playing.

He still wears his guitar too low...

Did you notice how much he uses his pickup selector switch? He flips it constantly between licks.

    Who doesn't?
I bought a relic'd guitar because I liked the way it sounded. Then I refinished it because I didn't like the way it looked.

He also has a variety of switches on some of his guitars that do all sorts of things.
And he has at least one guitar where the toggle switch isn't a simple 3 position one.

Oh, that's right. That 6-way gear-shifty thing I posted about a year or two ago.

I wonder how busy his tech is replacing them all the time...

Hey, if I had his money (and guitar tech's time) I would be putting them in my guitars.

...Or rather, my guitar tech would.

If I could afford it--I would have a guitar tech on retainer.
