What's Inside This Lipstick Pick Up?

This one is a Seymour Duncan--I've heard other brands may do it a bit differently.

Interesting construction. I've never even heard a lipstick pickup.

You may not have heard on in person--but I'm sure you've heard recordings of them--just weren't aware of it

Don't the old tele neck pickups count as lipsticks?

No... they kind of resemble them, and a lot of people call them lipsticks, but their construction is completely different.
They are mostly used in the Surf Rock genre, but are also excellent for slide.

    Good example
Many others as well due to the abundance of lipstick pickups on Danos

I right-clicked on the link and hit "Copy link location", then right-clicked "Paste and Go" into the address bar.
