Hi, and welcome to the forum. I don't know much about the brand without searching online, but I'm pretty sure Burny was a Japanese brand that primarily produced Gibson clones back in what's called the lawsuit era. I think they were reputed to be among the better ones.

I've got mostly partscasters....Strats, Teles, and Duosonics. I have one Tele with a pickup that's got a P90 coil siamesed to a Strat rail. It was built by one of the members here....Mike Reilander of Reilander Custom Guitars. He's our resident pickup guru and if you like P90's you should check out his P90 Classics that have alnico 2 magnets.

This is the custom pickup Mike wound for me. It's housed in a German silver Filtertron casing and has a P90 coil (the side with the screws) and a Strat rail (the side with flat magnets). The best of both worlds and dressed fit to kill for the bridge of my Tele Cabronita. Mike's a genius with this stuff.

As far as your guitar goes, there seem to be a few of them around, although I get the impression that Burny Les Pauls more often came with humbuckers and the P90 versions are less common and maybe more desireable. There was a goldtop version in the 80's with L-9000 alnico P90's. Here's a link for one that sold on Reverb.....

I got curious, so I Wiki'd Burny Guitars. It's a company with an interesting history.....

There are some sites that do cater to those guitars--I'd have to Google them though.

When you said Strat Rail--I thought of something like the Seymour Duncan P-Rail (which that might be similar to)--but the P-Rail has an actual rail--not separate polepieces...

    But coil, nonetheless.
I have a P-Rail in the neck of my Les Paul copy--and I love it.
Sounds like yours would be similar.
