    Any amp can take pedals if you take the time to figure it out.
    Too many people give up on specific pedals because they have short attention spans.
    There are pedals I would have given up on if my attention span was too short.

    My solid state low end Crate reacts to pedals much better than my Fender Hotrod DeVille. Of course I never tried the DeVille above 2 on the volume because its too loud in my basement.
    I don't play guitar because I'm good at it, I play because it's fun!!

    That will affect things--similar with my JC 60--it takes pedals well--I usually couldn't crank it in the house though.
