The 20 Most Popular '80s Pedals on Reverb

The 20 Most Popular '80s Pedals on Reverb

Some cool stuff there--and they appeal to people who weren't alive in the 80's--or who started playing guitar after the 80's

Any you love, hate, never heard of?
    Have? Had? sold? borrowed? used?
Even if you aren't a pedalhead, feel free to respond.

I had a Boss Chorus and a Flanger as a teen that mysteriously disappeared. I also had an original Tube Screamer but sold it for stupid money!

    I have 2 of the 20--the DS-1 & DF-2--still use them.
Pretty much he same pedal with one difference on the DF-2--the feedbacker/sustain function.
there might be some actual circuitry differences--but the sound is pretty much the same.

I think I sold it for $600- I couldn't believe that this pedal was worth that much- I can't imagine I paid more than $20 for it in the 80's

I guess you can never really know when some normal piece of gear will skyrocket like that. I was happy to take the money and run

The Boss CE-2 was/is a very nice chorus.

Boss/Roland did very well making choruses--Boss in pedals & Roland in their amps...
