    Generally I do SOME warm-up prior to playing. I guess there are times when I really was in a rush and didn't do much. Generally that doesn't hamper me too much because I am a rhythm player and don't play solos

    I need it more for playing chords
    I once had my hand cramp up

    Once my thumb fell asleep while playing a gig- right after that I got rid of the CV Tele. But that wasn't because of lack of warmup
