I remember the curly fries and frosted mugs of root beer- there used to be a few around here but I haven't seen them forever.

Finding out that the company you work for made a mistake on your pay checks since May and receiving $2 per hour for every hour you worked since then. Nice way to start the year.

I'm kind of confused? It seems to me you are receiving $2 an hour??? or an additional $2 an hour on top of your salary?

They were supposed to add 2 dollars an hour to my pay and somehow it didn't go through. I work so much overtime I never noticed and never look at my pay stubs. I know I should but I am terrible sometimes for keeping track of stuff like that. For once it worked in my favor.

I caught it. They were real good about it though. In the end I'm working at paying off my credit card so that plus I sold my Dodge Caliber last night. So that means the card gets totally payed off. My only debt is my mortgage. I'm starting 2018 with a totally clean slate. I have been working at that for quite some time so that happening is huge for me.

Being debt free is awesome- I also only have my mortgage as debt. Although honestly sometimes I wish I could sell the house, bank the capital and pay rent.
