You think USPS is any better? Are there any good options?

USPS is dependable at getting stuff there intact, plus they're the cheapest brokering stuff across the border. They're slower.....Like FedEx and UPS, they "exedite" by bouncing stuff all over the place, quite often in the wrong direction. I've had parcels that were in and out of New York three times before they finally got to customs. But I've had little breakage through USPS.

Interesting- I'd generally think Fedex and UPS would be better!

maybe not within the states--but for delivering to Canada they have the other two beat--especially when it comes to brokerage fees.

I might have found a way to make a few bucks. When I went in to where I used to work this morning just to kill a few hours, one of the installers asked if I'd be interested in working as a helper when he gets bigger jobs. It would be cash casual labour/on call, and may be a way to help fund a replacement computer.

    That is great news!
I bought a relic'd guitar because I liked the way it sounded. Then I refinished it because I didn't like the way it looked.
