I bought a relic'd guitar because I liked the way it sounded. Then I refinished it because I didn't like the way it looked.

Thanks for posting, DW. I saw this mentioned in another forum a couple of days ago and thought it's cool to see someone reissuing a retro phone. I can't seem to find the phone thread I had a while back, but it seems to me that this might be the model that Mike R. mentioned was a good one.

I had a friend give me a duplicate of the LG that I crushed with a forklift a while ago. It works....maybe even a bit better than the original I had....but it still has all the basic limitations that I objected to. When it fails, I'm thinking the Nokia might be a good replacement.

Cool, a phone that is actually used as a phone!

I bet if you turned them on, the battery still has a charge

...and yes it is Spell. It's the Chuck Norris of phones!

And if you triangulate them right you can communicate with people on Neptune...

One of the top features I want next time I buy a phone is a loud ringer. This LG POS I have now is inaudible if it's in my pocket when it rings. Any idea if the Nokia's ringer can be cranked up high?

If it's anything like the original, it's loud, obnoxious, and high pitched
