    Where did that come from?
I'll still accept the thanks though.
OH, the PInk floyd is just another category that I forgot to add.

Its more like the english/british acts got into one category.

But I was really thanking you for the Dire Straits. they are a really tight band. Love Knofler's tone.

    Okay
I do like Mark Knopfler's playing--and have seen him live.

But right now--it's the Yardbirds--Jeff Beck era.

Jim Martin, ex-Faith No More guitarist (for about 24 years). I'm curious about him because he's a Flying V enthusiast like me. I just ordered his one solo cd from Amazon called Milk and Blood, can't wait to check it out.

Just sittin down to watch a PBS special called Rock Rewind 1967 - 69. I've seen a lot of the PBS rock shows like the Ed Sullivan British Invasion show, but this Rock Rewind's new to me. Should be good by the looks of the preview - Supremes, Grass Roots, Sonny & Cher, Jefferson Airplane, Sly and the Family Stone, and Rascals.

(Edit to add Grass Roots is on, and this is pretty cool.....violin guitar and violin bass....

    Cool.

I'm going to preview some stuff by different people to see if I wish to purchase any new music...
