    What are you listening to?

I'm assuming that most of us probably have a window in life that we listen to music......maybe when driving, working on a guitar, or doing some thing else. I'm wondering what you're listening to these days.

For me, the best time is when I'm driving. I used to pull one thing and leave it in my car until I knew it by heart and hopefully wasn't absolutely burned out on it. Since I got the new car (and have a working CD player again for the first time in years, lol), I've started renewing my acquaintance with my CD collection....although, I'm listening to a CD once and then bringing it in and swapping it for something fresh.

So, periodically, I browse through and pick out the next ones to listen to and just pick off the pile when it's time for an exchange. I just got through the Best of The Byrds and have a little stack next to the door......

Get Your Ya-Ya's Out - Stones
    Bachman Turner Overdrive's Greatest Hits
    The Doobie Brothers Farewell Tour
    The Stampeders Greatest Hits
Beatles Karaoke (to listen closer to a guitar part I'm learning)

    So.......What're you listening to?
"I know just enough to be dangerous....."

Been listening to German Schlager lately. We're kicking around adding another German music set list. That might sound weird but there is money to be made in the space...

Philip Sayce is a Toronto guitar player who moved to LA after a stint with Jeff Healey.
I bought a relic'd guitar because I liked the way it sounded. Then I refinished it because I didn't like the way it looked.

I have been listening to this:
    https://soundcloud.com/brian-wildsmi...bosmitty-remix

It is a remix my son did of a Deadmau5 collaboration.
EDM musician/DJ Deadmau5 sometimes works with singers to create music. This one was with someone named Grabbitz.
    Here is the original version:

Deadmau5 made a contest to remix his song. So my son Brian took the tracks, through away everything but the vocals, and made his own music and arrangement.

Tim Crahart Blues Band--some real cool bluesy stuff--mixed with some old gospel stuff--but done in a bluesier style--both electric & acoustic

    You're welcome--but Pink Floyd?
    Where did that come from?
I'll still accept the thanks though.
