Send a postcard when you get settled...
I've been a pilgrim on this earth, since the day of my birth, I'm a long way from my home.

Hahaha, yes I will post here.

I'll do a thread or something, documenting my trip, from airport to airport, to my workplace and the places I will go there.

Its a bitter sweet feeling. Im now having problems on how to transport my dog. He has to go to a 2nd or 1st tier country for a minimum 6months before he can go to Australia. NOt only that, its so expensive. but I cant leave him. He's been my best friend and wife's comfort during her tough times when we lost 2 pregnancies and she went through 2 D&C operations to take out the sac and clean out her womb. She was diagnosed with anxiety and depression.

How will you manage it with the dog? 6 months is a long time...

I have relatives in San Diego, the one where we stayed 3-4 years ago. My uncle said he will take care of the logistics when my dog gets there. The challenge is getting the dog from Ph to US and a foster family who can take care of my dog here while I'm saving all the funds and take him to the vet for the tests and all.

Well only you & your wife can determine if it's all worth it to you.
& it sounds like you have decided.
So, I hope it goes smoothly.
