    Guitar related places to visit

I was thinking--while sorting through bookmarks, that we should have a thread of place related to guitar/music-as a reference for when we travel.

So I will add some, and open i up for all of you to add places as well.
You don't need to have been there to mention it though--but obviously would need to have been there to review it.

You could list museums, factories, visitor centres, displays, restaurants, studios, clubs, etc.

I would have liked to have started it off with the first bookmark--the Fender Visitor Centre
But apparently it is closed for now--but they say they will be opening it again sometime in the near future

    So there goes that one...
    (It was in Corona CA)

    So next bookmark then...

The next thing I have bookmarked is the National Guitar Museum.
It's actually a travelling exhibit, so first check if it is coming near you --or near somewhere you are travelling to.

    They list features as:

    Features:

    • More than 70 guitars (acoustic, electric, historical, unusual, antique)
    • 15 Hands-on STEM interactives that demonstrate the science of sound and music (see below)
    • 10 Video displays
    • Interactive kiosks, computer displays, and sound stations • World’s largest playable guitar as certified by the Guinness Book of Records – 43.5 feet long!
    • Listening and viewing environments for different musical genres
    • Photos, posters, graphics, illustrations, and banners all included
    • Educational materials for classroom and gallery activities ready for download
    So sounds cool to me...
So if I am headed tot he US I would check out where this is going as well.

One for Canada--haven't been there--but looks cool.

    National Music Centre

Could be good for return visits due to rotating displays & exhibitions & events

I would love to go to Nashville for that reason.
