Also, hearing warnings on Canadian stations (directed at people handing out treats, and the kids getting them) about being sure there aren't marijauna edibles being given to kids, which can be dangerous. There have been instances in the past where pot-loaded gummy bears were handed out to youngsters. Now that pot's legal here, you'd think this is probably more likely to happen again.
pretty sad that people would try to give drugs to little kids

I was horrified when I saw on the news that some sick-o SOB was giving out Rice Krispie squares with needles embedded. I can't imagine what kind of a person it would take to do something like that.

Never found anything in my candy--but you never know.

I saw a funny one on TV news a couple of days ago......A guy had a 1500 lb squash as his doorstep jack-o-lantern. When Halloween was over, he chained it to the back of his pickup truck and then drove away. I've seen some strange ways that people get rid of their pumpkins (like a catapult, lol), but I thought this was particularly funny.

Aw, come on, dB....Put your back into it

I think the same article on the removal mentioned that they had five guys struggle to get it up the steps in the first place. I can understand that....Sometimes it's not just about the weight - It's tough to get hold of something like that to lift.
