    Poor Man's Guitars

    Cool site (& book)
    I'm tempted to try some stuff from this, and some of it is beyond my comfort zone--but it looks like fun
    So if I do make some time & try some of this I will share.

    In the meantime--thought I'd share this.

    Neat idea. You see commercially made versions in music stores, although those are probably more for gimmick

    I've seen some nice ones in stores--but some of them are way overpriced for what they are.

    It would pretty much guarantee to turn heads among non-guitar players if you are looking for that shock value!

    Yes, although I think most of these things wind up sitting in a corner of someone's den or hanging on a wall somewhere

    A lot of them wouldn't be very good wall hangings for many
    I would think (& actually have it on good authority) that many of the people who build these will take it apart & reuse the parts if it doesn't work out
