    '63 Vibroverb Reissue love

    Share your love...

I recently picked up one of these. It's a 1991 model and bone stock when I picked it up. I love the creamy mid heavy tone, the 2x10 configuration, the different tone controls, the 6l6 sound and the classy brownface looks.

Lemme know if you've got one or ever played or just wanted one!

I love showing off this beauty! She's been a lot of fun since I bought her a few weeks ago.

Ah, and you have the proper guitar to go with it!

That amp is in real sweet condition, too. Congratulations!

Thanks Gkoelling! I must say it seems like that Tele and that amp were made for each other! My Gretsch 5127 sounds pretty darn good with it too.

Either of these and a touch of slapback and it's Rockabilly Heaven!

    Brownie

The brown amps are part of history. Transition from tweed to blackface.
    I play an actual '61 with the to-die-for trem/vibrato. I got it in '83

    Jammin' John,

That's awesome. I have truly become a Brown Fender fan. I just love the tone of that era, from the smaller amps like your Deluxe, up to the big ones like the Bassman and Pro! They each have their own vibe (literally, between bias vary and harmonic!), and they all sound so unique.

Even though I'm not usually a fan of the colour, I think there's something really appealing about the brown amps. They seem pretty uncommon, at least around here.....I've never actually seen one in real life. And, I'd never even heard of a Vibroverb until I started on the computer seven years ago. I remember the Vibrolux Reverb.....Was it the replacement for the Vibroverb?

Congrats Axis39. Browns aren't as common and maybe that's a good thing.

Turn the Depth down to about 3 or 4, and turn the Speed all the way down. Incredible sound!
