    NAD Panama Fuego

After trading my Hotrod DeVille on an Orange 35RT last year due to the shoulder injury it caused me while carrying it out of church, I've been searching for a low watt tube head and 2x12 cab. Ordered an Egnater Tweaker 15 earlier this month but UPS lost it and Amazon reimbursed me. So I did some research and got a Panama Fuego, 15 watt, 2 channel head. I have a Laney 2x12 cab I leave a church. Played it at wife friendly volume through a 12" Mesa labeled Celestion and the cleans are crystal clear and the gain channel is Billy Gibbons dirty. I am in love!!! I'll play it at cranked volume at lunch tomorrow when I'm home alone.

Congratulations on the new amp, Stan.

(*Nice to see that I'm not the only one still using curly cords)

Cool--I like lighter amps--and have been moving in that direction myself.

    Enjoy!

Congrats on the amp! I have never heard of the brand- where did you find it?

(and I use coiled cords too sometimes)

I've been watching them on various FaceBook pages I'm a member of but didn't consider them in my budget because of the "boutique" label they were given by the page members. Then I decided I was no longer a bass player and sold all my bass gear and decided to get a nice tube head and had that debacle with UPS. After Amazon reimbursed me, I did another search and found a great deal on the Panama, added a little money to my Amazon credit and bought it.

Except for recording two songs for friends, my gear sat unused for two years. It was time to go.

I still have the bass I bought off a kid in high school for $20 sitting in my cellar. Although I never play it.

This all gets my wheels turning, since it's been almost two years since I dusted off my four basses, bass head, and cabinet. However, I'm sentimentally attached to three of the four basses and the fourth would bring nothing if I sold it. Same with the bass amp....It wouldn't bring much but would be hard to replace without spending a lot more.

Back on topic, every time I look at that Panama Fuego, it surprises me how big it is for a 15 watt amp.
